Cosmic Cookware Warranty

The Cosmic Cookware warranty covers the Cosmo Pan, Cosmo Fry and Cosmo Casserole for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The limited warranty is only valid for the products  purchased from Cosmic Cookware and its authorised retailers in Australia only.

Customers are recommended to inspect the product upon receiving the item for the first time (within two weeks from purchase date) to receive warranty.

Cosmic Cookware will replace defective products / parts depending on the defect. All defects have to be clearly captured according to requirements as below so we can identify and replace them accordingly.

Warranty claim must include a clear picture or video to clearly show the defect. If no pictures or videos can be provided, Cosmic Cookware reserves the right to reject the warranty claim if we believe that the warranty claim is fraudulent or made in bad faith.

We may or may not request for customers to send the product back to our headquarters for inspection, the shipping and handling costs will be borne by Cosmic Cookware.

What is covered under the Cosmic Cookware Warranty

  1. Construction defects from the manufacturer (i.e. defects that directly affect cooking) such as handle misalignment, base of the pan or pot is not flat, lid does not close properly.

  2. Workmanship from manufacturer such as blistering or peeling on the inner coating 

  3. Any damages to the inner coating, dent or scratch upon receival of the product

What is NOT covered under the Cosmic Cookware Warranty

  1. Improper use or failure to follow use and care instructions

  2. Minor imperfections which do not impair the functionality of the product as intended. These include: Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains from ingredients and sauces, discoloration, color changes, minor paint chips, normal wear and tear, or other nonfunctional changes in the appearance of the product that occur during normal handling and use of the product by any party.

  3. Any damages caused by: 
        a) Cooking with metal/sharp utensils such as a metal spatula or knife

        b) Washing using steel wool, abrasive cleaners, bleach and other similar products

        c) Commercial usage, including heavy and prolonged usage of the product

        d) Improper storage

        e) Thermal shock, burns, overheating, or prolonged exposure to the high heat when empty.
